The waters of the Bahamas contain one of the last marine environments on earth with healthy enough populations of conch, Nassau grouper and the Caribbean spiny lobster to replenish and recover fishery stocks for the region.

The film, Hanging In The Balance presents the remarkable story of the fisherman's, scientists, government officials and conservationists efforts to preserve the Bahamas unique ecosystem and the fisherman's way of life.

is scheduled for distribution to the middle and high school students throughout the Bahamas and broadcast nationally throughout the Bahamas.
